Established over 10 years ago, Young Gloves Karate is a family run club, specialising in teaching
Traditional Karate lessons in Kidderminster, Stourport, Stourbridge and Bewdley.
Offering a safe friendly environment to train in, with fully qualified and CRB checked instructors for our martial arts classes,
self defence classes and karate classes. In a world of ever increasing violence, what better way to learn valuable self defence skills and martial arts whilst keeping fit and meeting new friends?

Young Gloves Karate: where quality and safety matter!

The Japanese translation of karate is empty hand, a combat art and form of self defence without using any weapons. You will find the classes are not intimidating or threatening and we will discuss with you basic procedures and introduce you when you come in.
We recruit a large number of complete beginners throughout the year. So if you've always fancied having a go at martial arts, but never got round to it this will be the perfect opportunity.
Who knows, one day you could become a blackbelt!

Who can start training at our Karate classes?
Boys and girls as young as 5, or adults as old as 70 who like to do new and exciting things. Our specialised programs and activities are designed to enhance co-ordination, concentration, balance, discipline, fitness self defence and overall health.
Feel free to come and watch any of our martial arts classes, self defence classes and karate lessons at any time, or better still, to join in.
