A very traditional practice of Wado Ryu Karate is a series of set karate patterns practiced with a partner.

Although these techneques will be practiced in lessons , students are expected to know these techniques from 1st Dan onwards, demonstrating correct timing, distance, focus and power making each technique work on ether side.
