Young Gloves Take
On The Very Best
Leading
on from our recent success in the KWON world championships, Sun
5 July Members from Young Gloves Karate travelled to Lichfield
for the LSKC interclub Karate championships.
Many clubs from around the country turned out to what proved to
be a verry special well organised event.
The standard was of the very highest calibre in
both karate and sportsmanship and we were certainly made very
welcome.
Can I say a big thanks to Matthew Hyndman from LSKC for doing
such a great job!
Young Gloves Karate took members from our 360 strong club who
have taken a interest in this side of their martial arts as although
we actively support national events like this, pressure is not
placed on students to enter.
Our club however proved once again to be among the highest quality
in the country with students taking home a very impressive about
of trophies.
Once again I was so impressed with the talented members, but more
importantly the way in which we conduct ourselves in a very competitive
way, but always fair and sportingly.
Well done to all students who are a total credit to the club!!!
